The Ferrari is one of the most beautiful automobiles in the world so if one of these rare pieces of engineering was to even get a scratch it would bring heavy hearts to car buffs, but to see one demolished is bitterly agonizing. Race car driver Shigeru Terajima was throttling his Ferrari 458 Challenge at the Suzuka Circuit during the second race of the Challenge series at the Ferrari Racing Days. The driver was darting his Ferrari at high speed when he seems to lose control of the car and collides into the safety barriers then tumbles to a stop. Thankfully Terajima survived, but he was immediately taken to a hospital and is in serious condition. Also hurt in the accident was a Suzuka circuit volunteer, he was also taken to the hospital, but not seriously injured. The same promising prognosis can not be said of the obliterated Ferrari.
