After much anticipation and speculation there is finally a concrete launch date for the Xbox One. Microsoft has announced that their next-generation console will launch on Friday November 22nd. The Xbox One will cost $499 that includes a single controller, Kinect, and a Chat Headset. As of right now there will be 23 titles that will be made available on the day of launch including, Assassin’s Creed IV: Black Flag, Call of Duty: Ghosts, FIFA 14, Madden NFL 25 and NBA 2K14 to name a few.
Microsoft has a new partnership with the NFL as well as a new NFL app for the Xbox One. There you can watch content from the NFL Network content, including Thursday Night Football and NFL Red Zone. A cable TV subscription that includes NFL Network is required to watch actual games. Below is a preview of the NFL Xbox One app.
