1) Baseball’s Best – The 5 best teams in MLB (baseball) currently are the Texas Rangers, The Philadelphia Phillies, The Colorado Rockies, The Cleveland Indians, and the Cincinnati Reds. Most teams have only played 10 games so far, they have 152 more games to go so plenty can change.
2) Basketball’s Bad Boys – The Detroit Pistons’ Charlie Villanueva and Cleveland Cavaliers’ Ryan Hollins were ejected after a skirmish which occurred late in the fourth quarter Monday night. Villanueva was restrained by Pistons security and teammate Rodney Stuckey on the way off the court as he tried to go after Hollins. A few minutes later, Villanueva apparently ran towards the Pistons’ locker room and made it only halfway to the Cavs locker room before police restrained him again. Villanueva reportedly threatened to “kill” Hollins. HERE IS THE VIDEO.
3) Hockey Playoff Time – The NHL (hockey) Playoffs start on Wednesday night. Here are the teams involved (the lower the # = the better record the team had heading into the playoffs).
