The fact that it doesn’t look like anyone got kicked out of this match is just fantastic. During Game 1 of the 2013 State of Origin series, NSW captain Paul Gallen had two sucker punches which landed on Queensland player Nate Myles after he took offense to a swinging arm on a tackle. Paul was ‘put on report’ following the incident, and play resumed like nothing happened. Can you imagine what Stern would have done if that happened in the NBA?
NSW ended up beating Queensland 14-6.
