During the first period on Friday Lake Erie Monster’s winger Patrick Bordeleau missed a hit by just a foot or so and slammed into the scorer’s box and shattering the glass in the process. What does it take to break the glass around the boards you may ask? The answer is a 6’6″, 225-pound enforcer skating full speed and dropping his shoulder. Ouch.
