With :03 left in the first half and Denver down by 4, Matt Prater set up for a NFL record 64 yard field goal attempt. Prater nailed it and set the all-time record, previously set at 63 yards by Tom Dempsey, Sebastian Janikowski, and former Bronco Jason Elam. To be fair, Tom Dempsey is the only kicker to do it outside of Denver…and he kicked with half a foot.
Ironically, kicker Matt Prater broke Tom Dempsey's longest field-goal record by half-a-foot.
