Very scary news out of the Women’s Super-G on the opening day of the Alpine Skiing World Championships on Tuesday. American Lindsey Vonn suffered a very serious crash during one of her early runs and was down for quite a while as medics attended to her.
A helicopter had to be summoned to air-lift the four-times overall World Cup champion to hospital.
