Flyers forward Claude Giroux scored one of the more spectacular goals of the season on Thursday night, one which helped his team pull off a massive come-from-behind win against Columbus.
Philadelphia trailed 3-0 heading into the final period of regulation before ripping off five goals in the third and coming away with a 5-4 win over the Blue Jackets. Giroux had the game-winner on this absurd backhander…falling down…with his back to the net.
It didn’t make a whole lot of sense but, boy, was it great.
