Bubba Watson was none too pleased with his caddy, Ted Scott, this weekend at the Travelers Championship especially on the 16th hole. The video above shows Bubba berating his caddy three times on the 16th at TPC River Highlands for either making him use the wrong club, or giving him the wrong yardage reading. It is understandable to get frustrated if someone isn’t doing their job correctly, but you have to be careful when cameras are all around you. Bubba would finish the 16th with a triple bogey and finish the tournament in 4th place.
Bubba did his best to cover his tracks by accepting blame for the wrong club choice on Twitter, but we aren’t exactly buying the half-hearted attempt.
Picked the wrong club on the 16th hole. But it was still a great week. Thanks to the fans & Travelers for another great tourney!
