One of this year’s more hyped sneaker releases was the debut of the Air Jordan 1 Retro “Shattered Backboard” which utilized an orange, white and black colorway that referenced the jersey that Michael Jordan wore for an exhibition game during Jordan’s rookie offseason.
Using that as an inspiration, Nomad Customs recently customized a pair of Air Jordan VI cleats in the “Shattered Backboard” colorway for the Orioles’ Manny Machado.
The resulting cleats are pretty damn eye-catching in all of their retro glory.

It’s not exactly surprising that Machado is the proud owners of these fantastic cleats. The infielder has also been spotted rocking custom Air Jordan 7 kicks on the field this year and he received custom Air Jordan 11 Low sneakers for his birthday back in July.
