Does the NCAA Tournament Selection Committee care that Paul Rudd attended your school? How about Bradley Cooper, Gary Busey or Tina Fey?
Even though every committee member envies Cooper smooching Jennifer Lawrence, Rudd doing (fake, maybe?) shrooms with Seth Rogen, or Busey having a prime seat to watch Henry Rowengartner throw a 100-MPH heater, it is highly unlikely that they will weigh star power when selecting the tourney field in a few weeks.
Each of those three attended tourney-bound schools that are currently ranked in the AP College Basketball Top 25. Just in case the committee elects to consider the trio’s TV and film exploits, this week’s Re-Rankings will remind them who is the best actor or actress from each school and where they stack up against the other 24 schools.
Some of the individuals listed did not actually graduate from their respective school but all did attend.
Check out all of the 2014-15 Re-Ranks here.
