The 31st syndicated season of the classic game show Wheel Of Fortune launched this week featuring episodes filmed at the Venetian hotel in Las Vegas. Appropriately, one contestant, Paul, turned in a performance akin to an unlucky Vegas draw. The poor guy had just landed on the rare $1 million/Bankrupt panel, and attempted to solve the puzzle, but blurted out a peculiar pronunciation of “Corner Curio Cabinet”.
The entire room froze when the buzzer rang, signaling an incorrect answer. Host Pat Sajak moved on to the next contestant, who answered the question without issue — and, likely to the relief of show producers, without $1 million on the line.
