Tinder Gold is coming to the United States. According to The Verge, the popular hookup app is launching another subscription based service in the U.S.
On top of the previously existing Tinder Plus – which allowed users to have the ability to have unlimited likes, five super likes and the ability to undo swipes – Tinder Gold, for the price of $4.99 will give you more prominent features like seeing who has already swiped right and liked your profile. The feature has already existed elsewhere across the globe.
As a noted-girlfriend-haver, I can’t add any special insight to whether Tinder Gold is worth it, but if you’re looking for an enhanced experience on the dating app than the price might be worth it. Being able to rewind accidental likes would prevent awkward encounters – which seems like a good thing. But, again, I’m a noted-girlfriend-haver so I don’t know whether it’s worth it! (Editors note: can confirm he has a girlfriend.)
So, the big draw here is Tinder is guaranteeing a better dating experience for a small price. For those looking to slam the likes and meet some new people, a small investment might be worth the cost. Tinder is apparently a magical thing!
