Matt DeSanto managed to achieve two pretty incredible feats on the December 26th episode of “Wheel of Fortune.”
It’s still hard to decide which is more impressive. On the one hand, there’s the puzzle which Matt managed to solve before the other contestants even got a chance to get their bearings (seen in the video above). With just a single “E” shown, Matt correctly divined that that correct answer was “The Lone Ranger.”
On the other hand, Matt would also go on to set a record for most money earned in one episode of “Wheel of Fortune” as he would earn $91,892 off of his appearance on the program.
I guess what I’m trying to say is Matt had a damn good day.
DeSanto stated that he didn’t really prepare for his appearance (which probably means that he is probably a time-travelling magician).
The Malvern, Pennsylvania-based dad of two said he’d been watching the show since he was around 5 years old, but that he undertook no particular special preparation for his appearance. “Maybe some extra crossword puzzles,” he chuckled. “I tried not to overthink it too much.”
