Thursday night’s episode of Jeopardy was so depressing that even Alex Trebek had to acknowledge it.
Generously saying that the trainwreck “wasn’t one of the show’s best episdoes,” Trebek had to witness two contestants get knocked out before Final Jeopardy and to top it all off, had to watch the only remaining contestant answer the final question incorrectly and lose even more money in the process.
According to Jezebel, the last time something like this happened was on March 16, 2011 which is sort of surprising because this sort of thing should never happen.
At least Kristin gets to come back for the next episode.
