Larry David made an appearance on Today to discuss and promote his new Broadway show Fish in the Dark which David wrote and is currently starring in.
In order to welcome him back to New York City, Matt Lauer had some gifts at the ready for Larry. Seeing as how he is a Jets fan, Lauer gave Larry a Jets jersey with David’s last name on it and a Jets helmet. Larry immediately tried to put the helmet on despite the fact that he had never worn one before. He had a little trouble with it.

Even with the chin strap off, Larry couldn’t get the helmet on correctly which left Lauer in amused shock/amazement.
Larry was eventually able to get the helmet securely on his head, confirming that his noggin is NOT larger than a linebacker’s or a defensive lineman’s.
