The viral sensation that is Katy Perry’s Left Shark has inspired a new SportsCenter commercial.
And while Katy Perry’s lawyers have been sending cease and desist letters to people who are trying to profit off of the accidental celebrity of Left Shark, SportsCenter made sure to cover its bases in the description of their ode to the real stars of Perry’s halftime show.
Halftime is over and it’s time for the sharks to go back to work.
Shark costumes designed by Katy Perry, Baz Halpin and Marina Toybina.
And as if it needed to be said, the real identities of left shark and right shark are Bryan Gaw and Scott Myrick respectively, not SportsCenter anchors Bram Weinstein and John Anderson.
