Gary Dell’Abate’s horrendous first pitch at Citi Field might’ve been six years ago but many still remember it as one of the worst first pitches in baseball history.
Dell’Abate, aka Baby Booey, is the longtime executive producer for The Howard Stern Show and the show is celebrating the 25th anniversary of him acquiring that nickname. He did so by mistakenly referring to the cartoon, “Baby Looey” and “Baby Booey” during a show in 1990.
The anniversary celebration included a 30 for 30 spoof of that first pitch six years ago and featured appearances by Matthew Berry, Peter Gammons, Dan Patrick and many others:
