Howard Schultz announced today via his blog that the company will be changing its logo this Spring. The evolution is a small part of Howard’s plans for 2011 and beyond; “It embraces and respects our heritage, and at the same time, evolves us to a point where we feel it’s more suitable for the future,” CEO Howard Schultz says in a video interview. “… it gives us the freedom and flexibility to think beyond coffee.”
We are excited to see what this could bring, however if it is just a logo change I am dumping all of my Starbucks stock. Check out the video below of Howard giving his reasoning for the change and plans for moving forward with world domination.
