Although personally, I haven’t seen Gangster Squad or Beyond the Pines, I will say that I am a Ryan Gosling fan, mostly due to the now, cult movie Drive. With great presence, acting and badass roles, whats not to admire, about a guy who seems as humble and friendly as your best friend. Next up? Only God Forgives which looks like another home run by director Nicolas Winding Refn (Drive). In addition to arguably the biggest movie star in the world, Kirstin Scott Thomas stars in what will surely be a bloody and dark cinematic journey set within Bangkok, Thailand’s seedy crime underworld.
The film follows Julian, who runs a Thai boxing club as a front organization for his family’s drug smuggling operation, as he is forced by his mother Jenna to find and kill the individual responsible for his brother’s recent death.
