The band OK GO has been known to do some pretty unique things when it comes to shooting their music videos. This time the band teamed up with Chevrolet to create a literal “musical ride” through their new video for their song “Needing/Getting.” The guys outfitted a Chevy Sonic with all kinds of gadgets and retractable arms that were designed to strike 1000 instruments as they drove their car through an off-road course of everything from sideways pianos to 55 gallon plastic drums.
This video took over four months of preparation and several days to shoot, but the end result was well worth it. Check out the video for “Needing/Getting” below:
