The Tivo at the Cosby Sweaters office cut out this morning, so we missed a very important announcement on The View: NKOTB — excuse us, New Kids On The Block, as they’d like to be called now — is headlining a summer tour, along with special guests 98 Degrees and Boyz II Men. It’s called The Package Tour, which one can only assume stands for “Package of ’90s Awesomeness”. Not only that, we get a new full-length album from Joey, Jordan, Jonathan, Danny and Donnie — cue Middle-Aged Men On The Block jokes — simply titled 10 (and presumably not titled after Mookie Blaylock’s jersey number).
The best part about this announcement is that it gave me a perfect excuse to waste a few minutes (okay, an hour) this afternoon on YouTube catching up with some old friends. Let’s just say the potential for another ’90s-themed CS Top 5 is high.
