Here is the latest teaser trailer for the final eight episodes of AMC drama Breaking Bad, which is set to return to television on August 11th. The trailer features sprawling shots of the Arizona dessert interwoven with scenes of familiar settings from the show, with Bryan Cranston narrating Percy Bysshe Shelley’s 19th century poem “Ozymandias.”
It’s actually quite a brilliant trailer, as Shelley’s poem is about the inevitable decline of all empire’s, no matter how strong they are or once were. Considering we’re all expecting to see the fall of the great Heisenberg (we even see his signature hat beaten up and lying in the dessert sand in one shot) it seems like a pretty great piece of literature to pair with this trailer.
