So, I found out today that there’s a YouTube channel that makes a habit out of stripping the music from various videos and replacing it with artificial ‘raw’ sound. From the Friends intro sequence to Katy Perry’s Super Bowl halftime show, the results are usually outstanding.
Their latest effort – released this week – is Mark Ronson & Bruno Mars’ smash hit “Uptown Funk,” which you’ve undoubtedly heard a million and a half times by now, and it might be their best effort to-date. You don’t truly get to realize how absurd some of these videos are until you see them stripped down their hilarious bare-bones.
The channel releases new videos every Wednesday so you’d be wise to head here and subscribe for future laughs.
