Bill Murray was on top of the world in 1984, namely because his small indie film “Ghostbusters” was crossing the streams of a nation’s heart. Unbeknownst to us then but knownst to us now, he also starred in a very small sci-fi musical comedy (!) called “Nothing Lasts Forever” that was never released. It stars Bill (of course), Dan Aykroyd, and Zach Galligan (the maindude from “Gremlins”. Directed by SNL alum Tom Schiller, it’s the story of an aspiring artists who teams up with some weirdos who want to drive a bus to the moon. Part black and white, part color, part musical, and all Murray, this film just made my “stuff to do this weekend” list.
