Creed, the next installment in the Rocky series, focuses on Michael B. Jordan’s Adonis Creed, the son of Rocky Balboa’s opponent turned friend Apollo Creed as he tries to box his way to the top of his profession as an underdog.
Sure, the story sounds very, very familiar to anyone who is familiar with the Rocky series, but Creed looks like it will be taking a much more gritty approach to its story and Jordan seems fantastic based off what we can see here (at the very least, he’s much easier to understand than Sylvester Stallone).
Creed will make its theatrical debut this Fall. We can’t wait.
