If you’re a fan of Star Wars and happen to be in Phoenix this weekend, you may want to head over to US Airways Center and catch the Suns-Pistons game on Friday night. The team is running a Star Wars-themed promotion, featuring a costume contest (for children 13 and under, you weirdo), photo ops with classic characters, and — most importantly — a performance by the dancing Slave Leias. Actually, according to the flyer, the dancing Slave Leias are “back”, which means they must have been a real hit the last time around, so you won’t want to miss their encore appearance.
As always, no weapons allowed (that probably includes “authentic” light sabers), and only children 13 and under can wear masks.
