N.C. State football coach Drew Hayes sent out some not-so-traditional and very over-the-top recruiting letters to high school football prospects.
Coach Hayes’ letter was first found on Dexter Wright‘s Instagram. Wright, a top high school football prospect, was not the only one to receive this insane recruiting letter. Another high school football prospect, CJ Reavis, put the SAME exact letter on his Instagram.
The overuse of the word “baller” in these letters is just plain silly. Coach Hayes clearly doesn’t what’s ‘cool’ and what’s not these days. The fact that N.C. State is allowing official recruiting letters like this to be sent to potential D1 players is not only embarrassing for the football program itself, but also for the University.
