Ian Rapoport is not only very good at delivering hard-hitting football coverage for NFL Network, but he’s also great at delivering hard-hitting bloopers to the Internet. You might remember when he hilariously took a football to the face during a sideline hit a couple years ago; a highlight that will be tough to top. However, he’s doing his best…and now he’s the one delivering the blow.
Rapoport was high-fiving fans while reporting live from Times Square in New York City this morning when he accidentally smacked a unsuspecting fan right in the face. The resulting GIF (above) is gold.
Rapoport apologized to the fan on Twitter after realizing his brutality, but I kind of like the idea of the #RapSlap becoming a thing.
Oops. Apologies!! RT @nflnetwork: VIDEO: @RapSheet high-fives fan in the face while reporting from Times Square http://t.co/ulyqwmFJhX
