Earlier this week, Fox & Friends First anchor Heather Childers committed an on-air snafu when she reported that the University of Connecticut Huskies were the “NAACP National Champions” — not the NCAA National Champions. At the time, everyone chalked this up as another “Fox News gonna Fox News” incident. However, just days later, MSNBC’s Ronan Farrow proved the NCAA/NAACP mix-up is equal opportunity across networks of all political leanings.
On his Thursday night MSNBC show — which is not doing so hot in the ratings — Farrow interviewed former NAACP President Ben Jealous, but identified him as former NCAA President Ben Jealous. Nope!
