According to the video’s description, the man wielding the scimitar in the above clip is named Ali.
What Ali was doing bringing a sword to what looks like a barbecue may never be known. We can apparently write off alcohol as a reason because Ali was “completely sober” during his attempt to cut a watermelon with a replica of Middle Eastern weaponry.
What we can safely say is that the results of Ali’s adventures in cutlery ends in predictably disastrous fashion. That poor glass table never had a chance.
