Wide receiver Greg Jennings ended his seven-year stint in Green Bay last week and joined division rival Minnesota Vikings. Naturally, some Packers fans didn’t take too well to this, but Jennings ended his time in Green Bay on a high note when he took out a full-page ad in the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel and Green Bay Press Gazette to thank the Packers fans for his time in Green Bay.
In the ad, Jennings thanks the organization and the fans for “opening your arms and hearts to my family and me.” A classy move by a classy player.
The 29-year-old veterean joined the Vikings on a five-year, $47.5 million contract.
