I used to work at a major video game company, which means a lot of my Facebook friends are gamers. I always know when Blizzard, creators of World of Warcraft, has a new game coming out because my Facebook feed starts looking like a convention for 30 year old virgins. Thus was the case with Blizzard’s newest game, Diablo 3. Hard core gamers have been waiting for this one for quite a while, and it seem that Blizzard didn’t anticipate the fact that nothing would work. All of my nerd friends bought the game, installed the game, and encountered something called “Error 37”.
Blizzard patched that and moved on to “Error 3006”. This is all in a span of less than 24 hours.
This young man is not anyone I know, but it is by far the best rant I have seen about this particular set of circumstances. Note the much-needed use of the inhaler towards the end.
Settle down, son. You’re going to have an aneurysm.
