John Burk came out swinging in a video directed at overweight people and now the well-known fitness instructor is facing some criticism. Although numerous studies have shown that obesity leads to a world of life-threatening health problems, some opponents believe that Burk, a 31-year-old Army veteran, went too far in calling people “repulsive” and “disgusting”.
As some people proclaim their support for his message in saying better efforts need to be made in fighting obesity, others are demolishing him for approaching the situation in the wrong manner. Here’s the full video that was originally posted to his Facebook page:
