If the movie art is any indication, @SuicideSquad might finally be able to parallel, or dare I say eclipse, the psychosis Heath Ledger brought to the screen as Joker in The Dark Night.
The dark, edgy art, which is some of the best you’ll see associated with a movie, implies playfulness with a gentle helping of pain and insanity. A combination Ledger’s Joker personified perfectly. So perfectly in fact, the franchise has been in a form of limbo since his untimely passing.
So, I’m hoping the art is telling the story true, and we will finally be able to move on, as is the natural way of things, to a new, crazy, hypnotically psychotic chapter in this great franchise.
