Hey, did you know that giraffes do not live in Ghana? No? Well don’t feel too bad because neither did I and apparently neither did Delta Airlines, who posted this tweet following the USMNT victory over Ghana on Monday:
It was probably just an honest mistake on Delta’s part but they were caught stereotyping and, as you can expect, got a whole lot of not-so-kind feedback on social media as a result.
They eventually deleted the original tweet and posted an apology in its place.
They might want to conduct a bit of research on Portugal just in case the Americans manage to pull the upset this weekend.
