We’re a couple days late on this, but it’s worth mentioning that the late actor/comedian Chris Farley would have turned 50 on Saturday. And, to honor him, The Second City, the improv comedy troupe from which Farley was recruited to join Saturday Night Live, uploaded this sketch dated July 26th, 1990. The sketch features Farley as motivational speaker Matt Foley, the character he’d become most-known for during his SNL career. Also appearing in the sketch are a young Bob Odenkirk and Tim Meadows, who also joined SNL as a writer and cast member, respectively.
