The big story in New Jersey these days is “Bridgegate,” so it’s only fitting that the Garden State’s biggest Boss weigh in on the controversy. Bruce Springsteen sang a very funny parody song poking fun at Chris Christie’s political scandal of allegedly closing lanes on the George Washington Bridge to get retribution on the Mayor of Fort Lee, N.J. who refused to endorse his re-election bid. Dressed in their finest 80’s rocker garb, Fallon and Bruce sang “Gov. Christie Traffic Jam,” a parody of “Born To Run” that joked over the controversy on “Late Night with Jimmy Fallon.” The Republican Christie is a huge fan of Springsteen, a Democrat, so this must have hurt.
