The Penn State Nittany Lions’ comeback attempt against the Oregon Ducks fell short in the Big Ten championship game the last time we saw them on the field, but they still have a chance to win the sport’s ultimate prize.
Thanks to the new-look 12-team College Football Playoff, the Nittany Lions will host the Southern Methodist University Mustangs on Saturday in the first round. Unfortunately, some disturbing news surrounding the program is circulating on social media.
“This is why a James Franklin team will never win a big [expletive] game. Party after the season fellas. SMU Moneyline and the points,” one Twitter account posted, along with a screenshot of a friend telling him that he saw the entire football team using cocaine in a bathroom at a campus party.

Fans reacted on social media.
“Seems like they are just trying to understand their opponent. See the ball be the ball. SMU would know a thing or two about all that,” one fan wrote on Twitter.
“They’re trying to understand SMU by getting into their routine, this favors Penn State if anything,” another fan added.
“Counterpoint, no better way to win the big game than a little extra juice. Penn state spread,” added a fan.
It’ll be interesting to see if an investigation will be done into this situation to see if punishment is necessary.
