Jared Weiss, an NBA reporter, posted on X that Boston announced that Porzingis suffered a “torn medial retinaculum allowing dislocation of the posterior tibialis tendon in his left leg at 3:27 of the third quarter of Game 2. They say the injury is unrelated to Porzingis’ prior right calf injury.”

Weiss added that Porzingis is likely to be listed as ‘day-to-day’ for the remainder of the NBA Finals due to this injury.
