If you’re looking for a job in social media I believe that there will be an opening at the Atlanta Journal-Constitution in the coming hours. On Wednesday afternoon the newspaper’s Twitter sent out this Tweet with a story about a man winning the lottery:
I’m no social media expert, but it’s probably a good idea to stay away from all racial topics while Tweeting for a major newspaper, especially when it’s a silly lottery story and the winner’s last name is “Lynch.”
The tweet was deleted shortly after its posting and the newspaper apologized for the insensitive Tweet.
