It’s not how many times you fall down but how many times you get back up. Life is tough but I’m the toughest SOB it’s ever seen. Ill be back
— Brian Cushing (@briancushing56) October 21, 2013
Brian Cushing suffered yet another devastating injury that will land him on the bench the rest of the season, and personally I am pretty bummed. Surely, Cushing is an absolute animal, incredibly fun to watch and his intensity rules second to none. We wish Brian the best as he begins unfortunately come back round # 2.
According to the NFL:
NFL Media’s Albert Breer has been told by Texanslinebacker Brian Cushing that he believes he tore his LCL and broke his leg. Cushing believes he needs surgery and is thought to be done for the season.
Cushing was ruled out right away after Chiefs running back Jamaal Charles‘ helmet connected directly with Cushing’s left knee after Cushing came on a blitz. Cushing had to be helped off the field without putting any pressure on his leg, and he was very emotional.
