According to reports, Flyers head coach Peter Laviolette has been fired. This shouldn’t come as a shock to anyone, as the Flyers had a disappointing season last year, and are off to a 0-3 start this season, despite their talented roster. Frank Seravelli of the Philadelphia Daily News broke the news via twitter:
Flyers have fired Peter Laviolette, per a source. Replacing him with Craig Berube. Press conference at 11am.
