If parking lot incidents in two different cities on Sunday are any indication, stupid behavior does not discriminate between NFL fan bases. Late Sunday, photos and video surfaced of Houston Texans fans burning a Matt Schaub jersey in the Reliant Stadium parking lot. In that incident, at least nobody was harmed. The same can’t be said for this fight outside Qualcomm Stadium in San Diego.
Neighboring tailgaters for the Cowboys-Chargers game got in an argument over whatever it is drunk tailgaters get in arguments over, which led to a slap in the face. Things escalated from there, as the Dez Bryant jersey-wearing slapee proceeded to have a beer bottle shattered over his head. His buddy, wearing a Chargers jersey, was also the victim of a cheap shot bottle smash to the dome, after which cooler heads seemed to prevail.
Also injured: some guy who really, really, really wants you to see the cut on his arm. Yeah, we got it, bro.
