We were all guilty of being greedy and wanting to see more of the elusive, mind-blowing moves of Barry Sanders when he bowed out of the game in 1999, but there may be a new Barry Sanders to take his place, his son. Yesterday Barry J. Sanders showed some of the explosiveness that made his father a legend. Sanders, a sophomore at Stanford, was finally given a chance on Saturday and flaunted a glimpse of dominance. He scored a touchdown, rushed for 34 yards on three carries and caught one amazing pass for a remarkable 16 yards. Sanders Jr. turned a modest gain into a complete highlight reel with several knee-buckling maneuvers against Washington State.
