As the saying goes, “Everything is bigger in Texas,” HD screens are no exception. Texas Motor Speedway will unveil “Big Hoss TV,” their monstrosity of an HD screen. This gargantuan screen made by Panasonic is a monstrous 218-by-94.6 foot 1080p display or 20,633 square feet, nearly double the size of the video board at Cowboys Stadium (11,520). The screen will surpass the video board at Charlotte Motor Speedway as the largest HD video screen in the world. This massive screen has 4,792,320 pixels, it’s bigger than the Lincoln Memorial and will weigh more than seven elephants. This entertainment wonder is scheduled to be ready in time for the race weekend of April 3rd, 2014. Now I just need one in my living room.
