Today the MLB is expected to hand out over a dozen suspensions in response to the Biogenesis Scandal. Biogenesis is going to end up defining the 2013 season — which is incredibly sad given some of the amazing moments this MLB season has already given us.
It is pathetic that sporting culture is robbed of role models seemingly everyday.
However, instead of giving attention to these fallen idols, we want to spend time remembering the careers of the guys who never put themselves before the game. These are the guys who’s posters adorned your childhood bedroom walls and are still there, because they deserve it.
These are the guys who had swag before it started showing it up neon tank tops on boardwalks and beaches. Poetic swings and logic-defying defense await you, so please step inside and help us celebrate the legacies of the good guys in an era of frauds.
