This is a pretty great story that emerged this week – A 9-year old boy running a 5K charity race in Michigan this past weekend was separated from his group of runners and looking for someone to help him when he came across a young Marine running the race in his fatigues. The young boy asked the Marine, 19-year-old Marines Lance Cpl. Myles Kerr, if he would run with him. Kerr helped the boy finish the race, but not before somebody snapped the picture below, which went quickly went viral online.
Pretty awesome stuff.
