This has to be labeled a trick play, right? Rays pitcher Alex Torres got creative on Wednesday night with a pickoff move and even though it was unsuccessful I have no doubt it will open up the vault for other pitchers in this realm. Alex sneakily took off his ball cap pretending to be adjusting it and tossed a rope to first narrowly missing Jarrod Saltalamacchia. Good effort, good game.
