Chicago’s City Council has officially approved a $500 million renovation of Wrigley Field, and the Ricketts can now breathe a sign of relief. According to ESPN, ‘Aldermen voted Wednesday to support the work for the home of the Cubs, one day after it got crucial approval from a City Council zoning committee and the alderman whose ward includes the ballpark.’
Below you can check out the renovation mock-ups which include the new left-field video-board which will be appearing soon. The video-board has been the biggest bone of contention between the Cubs owner and rooftop owners surrounding Wrigley.
